The Fifty-Seventh Day: Changing of the Guard, Pillow Fight

You know, when I think about it, it's good that I post these events on the blog weeks after they happen, because then it's kinda like time travel, right? (Justification.)

I'm just having too many adventures and no time to blog about them. So there.

Saturday, April 5:

We finally watched the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace this morning. It's such a quintessential British thing, and it took us nearly two months to see it.

Put a unicorn on it!

After watching the guard change, we walked to a garden in the middle of Leister Square and ate some PB&J sandwiches that we packed. Gotta save money somehow.  As we were eating, this cute couple, maybe in their sixties, sat beside us and we started chatting. YOU GUYS, I'm pretty sure this was Chris and I in the future. She was talking about how excited she was to see Angela Lansbury in Blythe Spirit, he was talking about how much money the tickets cost. Haha. We told them we'd be going to Rome soon, and they gave us all kinds of tips (from her) on what to see, and how to save money while doing it (from him). Too funny.

Then, we went to Trafalgar Square for a pillow fight.

Yes, you heard me. A CITY-WIDE PILLOW FIGHT! It was so cool!

Trafalgar Square was PACKED!!

And the clean-up must have been a nightmare.
Cheers!
