The Thirty-Seventh Day: St. Paddy's Parade, Trafalgar Square

Sunday, March 16

Not a lot of words needed in this post. The Sunday before St. Patrick's Day, we went to a parade and concert in Trafalgar Square.

This tap dancer was a smart guy.
He found his way over to the metal grate on the ground so his taps were louder.

Ha. This girl. I'm pretty sure she walked the whole parade route like this.
She didn't look up once the whole time she was walking by us.

This has something to do with hurling. I don't even know what it is.

Oh man. This lobster was so creepy, but this little girl wasn't even scared. High five!

There's ol' St. Patrick hisself.

THIS DOG, you guys. He was the cutest li'l thing. He definitely wanted to come home with Chris and me.

Sweet beard, kid.

The entire city was cracking open their Guinnesses, starting at about 10:00am.

Trafalgar Square was PACKED WITH HUMANS.

Edmund "Mundy" Enright, irish singer-songwriter, performed for us.  Video here.
As did the cast of the West End Musical, Once. Video here
I've no idea what's going on here, and I love it. Happiest of St. Paddy's Days.
Cheers!
